The thematic in presentation, explores the relationship between the traditional architecture of the island, the Greek light, the sea and Hydra’s rocky landscape. Architectural elements, unseen views of buildings along with colours and fragments of the island are placed on the canvas, abstractly composing with simplicity the different views of hydra. Fleeting moments of the day such as early mornings, calm afternoons and dusks play a major role in the artist’s compositions, revealing Hydra’s light and simultaneously softening the boundaries between architecture and landscape.
 

The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Hydra and took place from 09/09/23 until 16/09/23.
